Privacy Policy
Effective June 1, 2026. Last updated October 1, 2026.
Throughlined is a trade name of TL Marketing LLC ("Throughlined," "we," "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through our driver-recruiting messaging platform, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are and what the platform does
Throughlined builds and operates a recruiting communications platform used by trucking carriers (our "Clients") to respond to drivers who contact them through Facebook, Instagram, Meta lead ads, SMS, and similar channels. When you message a Client's Facebook or Instagram page, comment on a Client's post, or submit a Client's lead form, our platform may receive that message on the Client's behalf, reply to you with information the Client has approved, ask qualifying questions, and connect you with one of the Client's recruiters.
For driver data, the Client is the business you are applying to and decides why your information is collected. Throughlined processes that information on the Client's behalf and in accordance with this policy and our agreement with the Client.
2. Information we collect
From Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram). When you interact with a Client's page or ad through Meta, we receive the information Meta provides to the page, which may include your name, profile identifier, profile picture, the content of your messages and comments, timestamps, and, for lead ads, the fields you submitted on the form (for example name, phone number, email, ZIP code, and answers to questions such as years of experience). We receive this through Meta's APIs only after the Client has connected its page to our platform and only within the permissions Meta grants.
From SMS and phone. If you text a Client's number or a recruiter texts you, we store the phone numbers, message content, timestamps, and delivery status. If you click a tracked link in a message, we record that the link was clicked and when.
Information you provide in conversation. Driving experience, home ZIP code or location, division or route preferences, availability, and anything else you choose to share.
Technical information. Server logs, IP addresses, device and browser type, and similar data generated when you use a web page we host.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, or health information through the messaging platform. If a Client needs that information, it is collected through the Client's own application system, which has its own privacy policy.
3. How we use information
- To reply to your questions and tell you about the Client's open positions, pay, routes, and requirements.
- To determine whether your location and experience match the Client's current hiring areas and criteria.
- To connect you with a recruiter, including sending the recruiter a summary of your conversation and your contact details.
- To send you an application link and reminders you have asked for.
- To keep records of conversations so the Client can follow up, measure response times, and improve its recruiting.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the platform.
- To comply with law and enforce our agreements.
Some replies are drafted with the help of automated systems, including large language models, under rules the Client has approved. Automated replies never make a final hiring decision. Hiring decisions are made by the Client's people.
4. How we share information
- With the Client you contacted. Your messages and the information you provided are shared with that Client and its recruiters. The Client's own privacy policy governs what it does with that information afterward.
- With service providers that help us run the platform, under contracts that limit their use of your data: cloud hosting and database providers, messaging providers for SMS delivery, Meta (as the platform you contacted the Client through), and AI model providers that process message text to draft replies and extract the facts you shared. Model providers used by Throughlined are contractually prohibited from training on your data.
- For legal reasons, when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
- In a business transfer, if Throughlined is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
5. SMS terms
By providing your mobile number to a Client through our platform and asking to be contacted, you agree that the Client and Throughlined may send you text messages about your inquiry, including recruiter follow-ups and application links. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out; reply HELP for help or email tyler@throughlined.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Throughlined also sends internal text alerts to Client employees (recruiters) about new driver inquiries. Those employees have consented to receive them as part of their work.
6. Retention
We keep conversation records and the facts you shared for up to 24 months after your last interaction, or longer if the Client hires you and needs the record, or if law requires it. Technical logs are kept for a shorter period. After the retention period, data is deleted or de-identified.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access, correction, deletion. Email tyler@throughlined.com from the email or phone number associated with your conversation and tell us what you want. We will confirm your identity and respond within 30 days, or sooner where law requires. You can also see our Data Deletion Instructions page.
- Stop messages. Reply STOP to any text, or stop messaging the page. You can also block the page on Facebook or Instagram.
- Meta data. You can review and remove apps connected to your Meta account in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
- State privacy laws. If you live in a state with a consumer privacy law (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana), you may have additional rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Use the contact above. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising as those terms are defined in those laws.
8. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, audit logging, and least-privilege credentials. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you and the Client as the law requires.
9. Children
The platform is for adults seeking employment as commercial drivers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Meta Platform compliance
Our use of information received from Meta APIs follows Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only the permissions needed to receive and respond to messages, comments, and lead forms on pages the Client has connected. We do not use Meta data to build profiles for other purposes, and we delete it on request as described above.
11. Changes
We will post changes here and update the dates at the top. Material changes will be flagged on this page for at least 30 days.
